Highlights
Day 1Getting on the cruise and setting sail...a wondeful feeling of anticipation for the week to come. We spent our first night at the My Fair Lady Dining hall, the first of a week of amazing dinners with a fun assistant waiter, a shy waiter and a very distinguished head waiter. We ended the night several of us getting into a hot tub and enjoying the sea breeze and the moonlight.
Day 2The captain personally woke us up (okay, his voice on the intercom was so loud we just thought he was in the room). We headed to Key West for the morning. Some shopping and a fun time at the butterfly garden. We had our pic taken by the Southern Most Point of the Continental US...good times....Back on the boat they had a scrapbooking time so all us girls headed there (minus Burke who would never be caught dead scrappin')..it was pretty cheesy but hey, it's a cruise so who cares. We met the captain before dinner which was kind of fun. He seems like a nice guy. We ended the night dancing disco with the Almost Village People...when we were completely tired and danced out we headed to the top deck to cool off. We ended up in the wading pool where we continued the dance party with just us girls...dancin' under the stars is the way to go! it was kind of funny when people would walk by...they probably thought we were drinking, but you can have amazing fun I've found with out the aid of alcohol :-)
Day 3This was the Cozumel day...Heidi, Kristen and I had an excursion together...snorkling. It started out and ended up as a beautiful day but while we were snorkling the rain really poured down and then bounced back up into our faces and the water got all choppy and it was generally an uncomfortable experience...and personally I like to see the fish in the distance, not cool when they swim right by you...I was freaking out about that... (I know what you are all thinking but logic isn't my specialty). We eventually got out of the water and the instructor made some comment like "the lightning only hits the palm trees"...yeah.
Day 4This was a full day at sea. We slept in, ate a bunch, sunned ourselves near almost all the pools...saw some guy carve a fish sculpture out of a block of ice...ate some ice cream...dressed up for dinner like always...midnight buffet after our Shows and things were done...a nice day.
Day 5BahamaMama...this was a truley sunny, beautiful, lay in the hammock kinda day. The only really exciting thing that comes to mind were the hammerhead sharks who were in the water with us...I was out as soon as I found out...no thank you. Everyone else went and got their camera's and got back in the water...nuts.That night after the day was done and we were all winding down I took a walk by my lonesome. I ended up on the top deck watching a storm way off in the distance. It was beautiful. Every time lighting would strike the whole sky would light up. Most people know I love fireworks, and I would have to say this was God's version of a light show. A great way to end the cruise.
Day 6This was the day to get off the ship and to fly home. It took forever for it to be our turn to get off the ship so I relaxed in a porthole and us girls just chatted the time away. When I got to the airport, turns out my flight had been rescheduled and had already left...they hadn't notified me and as I told the lady, it wouldn't have mattered because I was on a ship!...so they put me on a taxi to the Miami Airport and I flew home way later, Burke insisted they buy me lunch at least so I got free lunch which was fine by me.
I guess that's all she wrote! I loved the trip, I loved seeing my girls, and I have a little bit of scrapbooking to do now!!!

stop your musing, just go cruising!
I leave on Sunday for a week of fabulous cruisin' fun!!! woohoo!!! I'm sure I will have lots of stories to tell when I get back...although some things that happen on a cruise ship need to stay on the cruise ship...or so I've heard ;-)
