I met Amy Grant today. Yup. what I said was more along the lines of "I'm buying ice cube trays". oh brother.
I pulled it together long enough to ask to get her and Judah in a photo together. I explained that the ice cube trays were for making home made baby food...she asked me if I had a food processor yet...I told her I was going to get one soon.
I of course had the camera set on video instead of picture so had to have her pose twice. lol. she was nice about it. Judah grabbed her hand and she thought it was cute...said he was a ladies man...I told her his dad was too ;-)~
Then I said it was nice to meet her and I hope she made lots of money at her yard sale...

PS. I was a little giddy afterwards. I mean...I met AMY stinkin' GRANT. The voice of my childhood. Granted I mostly listened to country music but even so...she married Vince Gill...voice of my childhood...seriously!

Sooooo lucky Jamie! I listend to Amy Grant when she sang Christian music prior to Country crossover. I LOVE HER!!! That picture of Amy and Judah is priceless!
I hope now you know how I feel when I attempt a half way decent sentence when I see Sara Groves in concert, or in person for that matter. I become complete mush! Next tome I see her I am so saying "I carried a watermelon"
Yeah, I woulda been about as bad. I can still remember being about 8 and singing Fat Baby while spinning around the living room.
Amy Grant was the first concert I ever went to, I was 8, it was awesome! It's sweet you got to meet her!
