I'm going to be doing a series of photo blogs over the summer titled "Pure Summer". I have a goal of enjoying as many of these southern summer days and nights as I can. Doing things that you can really only do in summer.
Today's post begins with us going to the local Artisan Festival. I figured I'd get the yucky stuff out of the way first :) Gotta love a good port o potty when it's almost 100 degrees outside. Hold your breath or you may not survive...
This guy was creating pottery....it was neat to watch.
You can't have summer with out a cooler of cold water and cold watermelon! Baby J was the talk of the festival riding in complete style.
There were lots of great booths selling their wares, this one was fun!
"Do we have time for sonic?" um...yes, the answer to that question is always YES!
Baby J has been introduced to the glory of a lemon slush...
I could barely pry that thing out of his hands!
My husbands idea of a good time is going to Home Depot...
I don't mind when we find treasures like this blue mist-er.
It is amazing.
It mists you and feels amazing.

Lance decided to clean the pool.
We got out the purple soothing night time bubble bath...
it seemed like a good idea at the time.
The bubbles freaked Judah out at first, so daddy enjoyed the pool alone.

Lance was trying to get the bubbles off of the sonic straw.
Baby J finally warmed up to the idea of a cold bubble bath in the pool outside.
Yet another pure summer day!

Wish we could spend summer days together.

Love these pictures! Portapotties are so gross. I've photographed one too though - when we were in Chattanooga, the slogan on their portapotties was something like "____(x company) - the #1 business for your #2 business"
Ew!
Also, we are a total Sonic family too. I made the mistake once of asking for cherries in Kieran's water, and now he asks for them all.the.time.
