I didn't think we were all that busy last week until I started sifting through the pictures I had taken for this blog post...oh my, no wonder I was tired by Sunday night. It was a fun week, but we crammed a lot in that's for sure!
Monday:
This is the day Lance's parents left after spending a week visiting, we went to the Farmer's Market and the Science museum just to get out of the house for a little while before small group later that night. It was a nice day.
Bring on the fall fun! We got a couple mini-white pumpkins to take home.
We climbed to the pinnacle of the science museum...it was frightening.
Check out Judah's face...mine was worse.
I was relieved to climb back down.
I had that tingly feeling all through my body...also known as fear.
We ended the night with small group and a dance party! Love our group of friends!
Tuesday:
Tuesday was all doctor appointments. Judah has had a cough going on 2 months now, we've done antibiotics, allergy meds and now a breathing treatment in case it was at all asthma related. It probably wasn't, so we tried an even stronger antibiotic and it seems to be helping.
Doesn't he look little in this pic? Of course he needed his ear protection because the breathing treatment machine was noisy. Typical Judah :)
We also got some shots for Lucas, poor kiddo. He's a trooper though, love my baby.
Next up, a trip to the doc to find out about getting my wisdom teeth removed.
Those are my choppers. Yup. Teeth x-rays make me think of CSI type shows...creepy!
After all the doctor hoopla, we headed to Ryan's for comfort food.
They have the best meatloaf. And tons of food Judah will actually eat.
Definitely a favorite. Us and all the blue hairs of Nashville ;)
Wednesday:
Lance headed back to work for the day (he had a work overnight in town so that was nice!)
We went to meet a girl (turns out she was like 13) to buy a halloween costume for Lucas...and got stuck waiting on this train. Once upon a time I tried to avoid train crossings, now they are our idea of a good time and we sit and wait and wait and live for the rocking of the train passing us by slowly...the longer the train, the better.
Our weekly tradition of going to the East Nashville Farmer's Market was coming to a close for the season, the final market of the fall happened and they always make it into a big party for everyone.
Besides the normal yummy food and local vendors, they bring in a tractor and a petting zoo and it's just a great time.
Judah was my photographer for this little ditty ;)
They had pumpkins for us to paint, Judah made lots of eyes and noses on his "monster pumpkin".
I like this picture because you can see all the other families spread out on their blankets enjoying the market, visiting and having a nice day. This is our East Nashville Mom's Group.
Judah was loving the tractor, we got there early so he was able to enjoy it alone for a long time before it got really busy.
Oh the petting zoo.
Beware little bunnies, the Lockhart boys are teaming up today...
Lucas got a huge kick out of the baby cow.
Have you hugged a Llama today?!
If this picture doesn't make you smile, you may be dead.
A little hoola hooping to the live music.
I couldn't resist trying this juice, it was amaze.
And Judah got his weekly container of goat cheese...we were a regular customer for that farm!
A little more love in the petting zoo.
It was starting to get cool, so we put on hats and headed home.
Such a fun day!
I just included this pic because how awesome is Judah's hair right now? I love his curls...
Thursday:
Lance arrived home really late Wednesday night and was home to make breakfast on Thursday.
My canadian boys!
When Lance was getting ready for work, we decided to make a badge for Judah just like daddy's work badge. It was so stinking cute I could barely stand it. For real.
Here's a little sneak peak at his badge pic. We printed one to go in the badge Judah has on, and Lance put one in his actual badge to show off at work, oh man, what a sweet daddy's boy.
Later that day we went to pizza club!
It was just down the street so we loaded into the wagon and walked over.
Everyone gathers and loads their pizza's up with toppings and then we take them home to feed our families. It's fun to see what toppings people bring.
Judah is mr. pickypants so we bring a frozen pizza and add toppings to half (for me)...the rest of the gals buy nice fancy dough from trader joe and make home made pizza...oh well, it works for us!
Friday:
We have a good friend in our neighborhood who keeps a similar schedule as us (her husband also works a lot and we are on our own a lot) so we get together each week to share dinner.
This night was full of really yummy pumpkin fettuccini and lots of talking and busy kids.
We call miss Clara the Princess...she is royalty!
As we were leaving our friends house, I remembered it was our other friend's (Judah's favorite Miss Christy) birthday, so since we were out and about we headed over to her house to say happy birthday and deliver a note Judah wrote her along with some drawings he made.
She shared her birthday cupcakes with us and invited us for dinner on Sunday night...it was so nice!
Saturday:
We stayed in our neighborhood on Saturday, the local Shelby Park was having a 100 yr celebration.
They unveiled this piece of art along with some park improvements.
We had a blast.
Stepping stones!
When I saw that there would be "dance performances" at the celebration, I assumed hip hop or something similar...but alas. It was the Nashville ballet out on an island marching around in suits, occasionally jumping, falling down, splashing their hands in the water and generally impersonating geese from what I could tell. I'm sure it was more refined and interesting than that, but that is what it looked like to us. It was a hoot.
We went home for naps and then returned later in the day with our friends Noah and Liam (oh and their mommy too of course). It was a car full of kids!
We got Ice Cream treats!
Their first cones!
Not his first cone ;) he's a pro at the cake cone devouring.
I took a picture of his dog for my mom because I think it is the same dog she has...am I right mom?
I like how this one is groomed. Very pretty dog.
It is always an adventure when Hannah and I do stuff with all our kids.
Sunday:
Sunday I spent cleaning my house and getting stuff ready for the week of my wisdom teeth removal.
Not very picture worthy.
But I should have taken a picture of Judah devouring Spaghetti and Meatballs for the first time.
Thanks to Christy who made us dinner, Judah tried a food he previously has shunned and loved it!
Glory!
So that was our week...and boy was it a good one.
We were busy bees for sure!

Darling pictures kiddo. Love sharing your life long distance this way...as I miss you way too much. The dog is either a poodle or a doodle and the 'do' is adorable. I love dogs....Can't wait to hug those adorable boys....and soak in their smiles and mom's too....You have a great approach to mothering by the way.....
I've missed your blog! One perk of being back to work is the forced desk time that I have to sneak peeks at my fave blogs again... :)
Great week of pics reported here! Though it makes me tired to think of it all. :)
Miss you!
